• For those who want low-maintenance hair coloring without frequent touch-ups at the roots.
• For those who want natural, gradient highlights, rather than contrasting colors.
• For Asian hair, especially black hair, to create a more layered effect.

The Origin of Balayage
Balayage, meaning “to sweep” in French, is a hair coloring technique that originated in the 1970s in Paris. This method creates natural, sun-kissed highlights using freehand painting, resulting in soft, seamless transitions without the need for traditional foil wraps. It’s low-maintenance and avoids visible regrowth lines, but repeated bleaching can cause significant damage to the hair.
What is Airtouch blending, and How is it Different?
Airtouch is a modern hair coloring technique designed to create soft, natural gradients while minimizing damage. It uses a blow dryer to separate weaker strands, focusing only on healthy hair for coloring.
How Airtouch Works
1. Blow-Drying Separation:
A blow dryer gently removes fine or damaged strands, leaving stronger hair for coloring.
2. Powder Plex Added:
The process incorporates Powder Plex to further protect the hair during bleaching.
3. Long-Lasting Results:
After six months, 95% of Airtouch highlights remain intact, requiring only the new growth to be bleached, eliminating the need for full reprocessing.

By blending these techniques, continuous bleaching avoids pudding hair, and results last 3-6 months without issue. For vibrant colors like red, cyan, or blue, which may fade, we recommend pigment shampoos or in-salon pigment treatments to restore color and maintain hair quality.
